...and another year has passed. The begining of an new year, a new start all because of the wonderful year 2008.
Like we say life changing moments, for me this 2008 has proved to be life changing year. Many things have taken place which has a deep effect on all the things I used to do and that I will be doing.
Starting with my birthday and getting into 20's :P (indeed a very big thing). Followed by my sister's marriage. It was difficult for all of us initially to get adjusted to the fact that she wont be staying with us together anymore. Was used to her presence all the time at home and I never had to bother for anything when she was around at home. But sooner or later it was to happen. I had to be a bit responsible then helping mom and my second elder sister in all the possible ways. As with her marriage there were many other changes that tok place at home too which were totally unexpected and we all are still hoping for things to get better, but still staying happily.
Then the second thing that almost totally changed my life, my career. That was being a graduate and taking admission for MBA(IT). Though very much unwillingly under my sisters pressure I took admission for MBA, but I confess they both always make the right decission for me and I am really happy with my course. After long 5 years I have got along with a whole new lot of sweet friends and getting closer to the older ones. This was the biggest thing happend in 2008 which has totally changed my life.
Next is handball. Say it by luck or what but I was fortunate enough to play states, which I or my teammates had actually not imagined. But things went right and we were roaming for matches and had great fun with my team. Met many pepople and had a great experience overall.
Along with my graduation I had started with my NIIT course which will be getting over in this Jan also helped me a lot in shaping my career path and that too in IT. When I was in 12th I used to hate computers like anything. I was very much into NCC and sports so going into Defence services was fix(well that option is open now too) and I used to hate sitting on 1 place and typing and all. But fortunately in first year my mom nand sister took my admission and very much against my will selected vocational computers as 1 of the subjects and I could'nt change that later. So I had to study for papers and gradually started liking it. So much that I will receive my Microsoft Certificates within a week. lol.
There are many more things that happened, but the above ones are the most important ones. Just like every year this year too was full of ups and downs. Mostly downs, but thats what has made this year so special. Learnt many things and facts about myself and life which I will never be able to forget those.

MUMBAI...
Mumbai experienced the worst ever 60 hours of terror that the world has ever witnessed. There was no doubt that the terrorists would be gunned down but no one knew that it will take such a long time. Many innocent people lost their lives n some of the brave officers too.
Like others I was too amongst the ones who were glued to the TV for the recent updates and praying this all should end soon. And finally after almost 60 hours it was the end of all the terrorist drama...
It was so sad to hear about the people taken as hostages and killed and all and especially because just only about a month back I had been to all these places where terrorists had striked. I had spend one of the wonderful evenings while visiting these places and today on the same spots many people have lost their lives...
I seriously wonder how these terrorists are trained in such a systematic manner and the way they execute their missions… The article about the Ajmal Amir Kasab the terrorist who was arrested and all the things that he revealed, was so shocking. The other article in Times Of India about psychiatrist have to deal with these terrorists and hoe these terrorists are trained to feel nothing about anything and so they can kill so inhumanly. So much so that the news channels are not allowed to show such pictures. And the family of the General Manager of Taj hotel was killed in such a way that the news channels couldn’t show.
The stories of those who survived are really disheartening. I sincerely appreciate the way they were able to survive in such tough situations.
From this terror attack, a lesson is learnt about having a tight security. And also a lesson taught by India and its brave officers to terrorist that it’s not so easy to execute your plans here. So watch out!

Through out our life we get in to so many things. We always want all the things that we do to be perfect and should give the best possible results. In the sense the results which we expect to get. It should be termed the best by others or just by ourselfes to be satifsied, that I have done the work in the best possible manner. To do all this we strive so hard, get sleepless nights and all such things...
And finally the judgement day, which decides the fate of all your efforts are going to be rewarded or will go in vain...
And its such a terrible feeling when u dont get the desired results and are just lost in finding what went wrong...For few moments you feel as if all is lost...and such a depression.

In life we need to realize what we want, and that we never understand unless and until we loose something. We learn so many valuable things from a broken relation, the most important about yourself. May that be your best friend in your school or any one who you trusted the most.
Yes off course it’s sad when due to some reasons there are misunderstandings or unnecessary blocks start building between two people, and finally you part away on some sad note, so much so that you don’t even feel like seeing that person ever in your life again. There are so many grudges, ill feelings, sometimes which you might never forget in your life. But according to me sometime its better to part away when things start getting worst, let it go.
Next time when facing same situation, after meeting a new person, you know what you want and you know what went wrong which you can improve this time and build a better relation.
What made me write this, is that I met one of my school friend today. We were so called best friends in school. We had shared some memorable days together. But soon many things started turning ugly and eventually we stopped talking and never were in contact ever since we left the school. Its almost been more than 6 years now. There were many bitter things that happened between us some of which I don’t even remember all things and I don’t blame anyone for whatever happened, but they made me change. I don’t know how and what…but the grudges I had, infact I still have some, has helped me to be a better person, to make better relations later on. The things that she pointed out about me that time, some were right some were wrong. And so to prove that I was right that time too not to her but to myself, I try doing things in a better way which has helped me to grow, grow in a better way.
Well she is not the only person I had bad relation with but there are many such people. And indeed I have known something new about me each time I had any grudges or bad time with anyone. And yes it’s not the case that I have mingled well again with these people, but somewhere when I see them or think about them I thank all these people as they have indirectly helped me to be a better person than what I was. And I am happy about it. Thanx again.

Drained Out
I want to write something down,
But the ink doesn't seem to run today
There's so much to say
But my emotions are still left astray
I look at this empty page;
And my emotions want to make their mark here
I even run my pen around
But still the space is left clear!
It's like walking on wet sand
Without leaving marks behind
It's like...
Tying a stream of water abound!
Oh! How my feelings want to pour away...
But it's so funny
How my thoughts seemed to have just lost their way!
This is another wonderful poem I found.

There's so much to say
But my emotions are still left astray
I look at this empty page;
And my emotions want to make their mark here

Oh! How my feelings want to pour away...

Destiny...
The meanings of the few words given in dictionary.
[destiny —n. (pl. -ies) 1 fate. 2 particular person's fate etc.
fate —n. 1 a the future so determined. b individual's destiny or fortune.
fortune —n. 1 a chance or luck in human affairs. b person's destiny. 2 (in sing. or pl.) luck that befalls a person or enterprise. 3 good luck.
luck —n. 1 good or bad fortune. 2 circumstances of life (beneficial or not) brought by this. 3 good fortune; success due to chance.]
After a long time all of my friends met together in the evening. It was really after a long time, as we all were busy in our admissions and college. It was a great evening listening to everyone telling about their respective new colleges. We had a great time.
Suddenly some topic was on roll and I don’t remember exactly what happened but one of our friend said, “so this was in my destiny.” On this sentence if his, another friend was so annoyed, and he started arguing. He was totally against all this destiny stuff. He was like no there is nothing such as destiny or fate. It’s all what we have and what we are capable of getting and these words are only an excuse for not getting what we wanted.
And overall a new topic started. For an instance I agreed with him, but no, I do believe in destiny and fate. Yes I do believe that things do happen as they are in ones destiny and we can just make things better by working hard or so, but we can’t change it.
But offcourse everyone has got their own views and thoughts and I do respest my friends thoughts in not beliving in Destiny.
The best quotes I have found on destiny:
“Serendipity. Look for something, find something else, and realize that what you've found is more suited to your needs than what you thought you were looking for.”
“I have no regrets in my life. I think that everything happens to you for a reason. The hard times that you go through build character, making you a much stronger person.”

I found this while surfing the net...
It's not too late... the angel said.
Even though the world's a mess...
Even though you're not as young...
Even though you've made mistakes and have been afraid
It's not too late...
And then I saw the world through the angels' eyes...
I saw the colors I could paint
The bridges I could build
The lives that I could touch
The dreams that could still come true
And it became very clear to me...
That it's not too late.
-Ron Atchison
Yes there are so many things which are just left out, the things which we wanted to do but due to some reasons we could not even look at it and later on as well we say let it be its too late taking that thing up again (offcourse physical activities we can't sometimes). But we are so wrong in thinking like that and we just regret sometimes on not doing those things...
