The New Beginning…

June, July mark the beginning of the new academic year. With a new hope for all the students that yes, atleast this time we can do the things better. There is happiness and same time nervousness of getting into the higher class, which indirectly means more responsibility and studies. But at the same time all are in fact waiting eagerly for this start.
As it is not only the academics beginning, but also the other main things like intercollege matches, drama competitions, and all the other things we are more interested in other than studies(Scholars please excuse). Hardly anyone is worried about whats going on in college as far as all the practicles are being submitted on time.

Here the college has just started and the notice boards are full of notices announcing the upcoming events. Sometimes even the names of the winners of certain events especially the cultural events. Then starts the most amazing time…practises and all…the best time you spend with your team mates. Making strategies, discussing, arguing, fighting sometimes, PJ’s and what not…its total fun.
Ohh...I am missing all these things…as doing MBA you are left with hardly any time for doing all these things and as I am getting updates from my juniors.
Today was the first day of my new college, a new surrounding, new people. It was great being there as the addressing was going on of our new principle, telling all the things we got to do and how hard we have to work for it, and we had the experience in our immediately next lecture which was conducted. Preparing ourselves for to face the real world now. Being responsible for all the things we do now, as the future depends on our this very two crucial years. But being involved in sports since long I just thought that no ways I will refrain myself from playing matches and participating. Off course for that I have to be multitasking which I am, but this time with a bit of extra efforts. “Certainly we are not BCom students any more” was the feeling of most of my friends who were with me in my college for graduation.
Overall it was great to start with MBA course about which I was in a dilemma… But finally I am happy and enjoying and ready to give my best as usual.

When did I realize I was God?
I was praying and suddenly realized I was talking to myself.

How true this is...

George from UK

The first ever vacations with friends only…n that too to GOA…..
WOW! Was the reaction from whoever knew about it. Off course it is an exotic place after all.
We were four friends who had an extraordinary time with each other. So much that we never had such great time even in our college. And the few things/incidents that happened to us have made this tour so memorable.
Here us one of them.
After having total blast, irritating many couples and other people on the beaches and on North and South Goa tour by our large volume of speaking, laughing, giggling, enjoying every moment…finally it was our last lunch in Goa before returning back home. It was the same restaurant where we had enjoyed our dinner last night, as it was near to place we were staying. As we were to soon depart from Goa, it was our last chance to enjoy to fullest. As we had been to the restaurant by 2.30p.m it was almost empty. We ordered all the things which we wanted and our giggling was going on as usual. Without worrying for our bill which we did sometimes, we ordered a great lunch with some Goan delicacies. After almost 1 hour or so, a foreigner walked in and was sitting on just the next table. We saw him, but he hardly mattered in all the fun we were having. He was looking at four of us, probably because of the volume of laughing, as he was having some chat with the waiter too (no he must not be talking about us, he might be just ordering something for himself we thought).
We finished up with our lunch and as usual we asked the waiter for the bill. (I am sure he would have felt relived as we were the only ones he was waiting for).
But to our surprise the waiter came to our table and said, “Your bill has been already paid.”

It was obvious for four of us to say “WHAT?” together. And then he told that the foreigner on that table has already paid your bill. We four looked at each other amazed and decided to have talk with him and pay the bill for ourselves.
We approached him and I asked him as to why was he paying our bill? We told him it’s alright thanks…we will pay the bill ourselves. On that he answered, “I am paying your bill as I want to. I liked the way you girls were enjoying your lunch, laughing ha ha ha and all. It seems you are having a good time and enjoying and so I want to pay the bill.” But still we insisted him that we will pay it ourselves. But he was so adamant, he further said, “If you feel you are mine please let me pay your bill, you are having fun go spend your this money on some shopping and have a great time.” (Which we already were having). We were reluctant but finally we accepted (after all no one pays your bill every time). On that one of my friend asked him jokingly why dint you meet us before we would had done some more shopping. We dint even see the bill amount, and it was paid. Wow!
He was George from UK, had come to Goa on vacations just like us he told us later. After all the conversation we thanked him and left. And just after crossing the road we all burst out laughing so much…louder than ever. That 50 meters footpath how we crossed it we know for ourselves.
We still have a good laugh on this incident whenever we meet. Thanks to George from UK.

I Wish

I wish I could fly like a bird,
And achieve whatever I have dreamt.
Tearing the sky and moving forward,
Looking towards my unachieved goals,
I wish I could fly like a bird.

I want to be a part of something,
I want to be a part if everything.
I want to be this, I want to be that.
What I want to be,
Am I sure of that?

But this much I surely know,
I have some dreams, which will glow.
Hoping and wishing are the only things I can do,
Rest…god… I leave it up to u.

This is a wonderful poem I found in one of the newspapers. Very true feelings are described in this poem I feel.

What if not a human?

After a very boring day I was just chatting with a friend in the evening. We were just talking about the general stuff here and there. All of a sudden he just asked me if he can ask me a question. And he asked me,
“If given a chance, what other living thing you would like to get transformed into other than a human being?”
For a second or two I was like what? What sort of question is this? I had never thought about this any time before. He said just imagine anything and see its all fun. There was no harm in giving it a try though. I thought and amongst all I would like to be a bird, a “free bird”. Well yes off course I do agree that the bird’s life is also as hard and difficult as ours (about which we are always cribbing). But anyways I would like to get transformed into a bird if I am given a chance I answered.
And then he told me that he would like to be a tree or a star and the reason behind that.
It was really fun knowing that. And so I tried this question with my other friends the next day. Some reactions were exactly the same that of mine like, what a stupid question u are asking while some appreciated and opened up immediately. It was total fun listening to the various things they would like to get transformed into.
Well this question seems to be so stupid (not in Hogwards though), but actually how revealing this question is. A very self realizing, as well as we can know so much about others. I just remembered the various applications on facebook, but some are just a timepass. I bet the psychiatrist can write papers about their assumptions based on these questions.
There are so many questions like this, but we never really give it a thought even. These questions make us to thing beyond the square, which we hardly ever do in our daily busy lives unless required.
Whoever reads this blog do try it out. Ask this question to yourself and your friends, I assure you, you will have some great time with them.

Quotes

“Giving Up Doesn’t Always Mean That We Are Weak. Sometimes It Also Means That We Are Strong Enough To Let It Go!”

What an amazing quotes! Almost applicable in every walk of life…Especially when life is going full of pains and turmoil.
It is the proven fact that we don’t get the things we always want and have to sacrifice them or make a compromise with some other thing instead of it. Quite inspiring quotes, at such time, when we are sad and depressed in losing it.
With lots of attitude and confidence to face any challenges of life later on which we face, which may be as the consequences of losing the actual desired thing. It’s like moving on with the things whichever I have now and am happy and strong enough to accept the challenge. I have chosen the difficult path to lead my life as it is no fun sometimes.
That’s the right attitude of living your life I believe.
I received these quotes as a SMS from a very dear friend, at the very right time which to some extend helped me to sort out the biggest problem I was facing. About my career. I want to pursue MBA and the centralized procedure for the same is going on. I had already got admission in another college where I have opted for MBA (IT) but in fact I wanted to go in for finance as I am not from a technical background. So I was waiting to get admission in another institute through centralized procedure. But I didn’t have that good marks for me to get admission in the 1st round in the colleges I choose to go. Our financial condition too not being that well we had enquired about getting admission in management quota but it was impossible. The day the list was out I was very much depressed as I had not been alloted any college in 1st round. There was a big question mark before me. As the last date for taking the admission for IT is the same day the, the day the 2nd list is out and I won’t get the refund too. I was in a fix and had to decide something that very day. So finally with a heavy heart I decided to go in for IT.
I thought in my mind that it’s ok let’s give it a try, though I knew that my whole rest of the life, my living will be depended on this very decision. But I was strong enough to let it go…as I do believe in turning things good for me. I believe in myself that I will be able to work out things in my favor. I have accepted the challenge. And now frankly speaking I am happy with my decision.
